Ola Electric’s Comeback Is Real, But So Is the ₹336 Crore Quarterly Loss
Sep 30, 2026The Spec'd take
Why it stands out
- Ola quotes 16 kW, 71 Nm, 152 kmph and 0 to 40 kmph in 2.0 seconds, which makes it one of the quickest scooters you can buy in India.
- It is the first Indian scooter with ADAS: adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and lane departure warning, plus a front camera that records your rides.
- Real sport hardware: traction control with Rain, Urban and Track modes, a gas-charged rear shock, a retuned front fork and brake-by-wire.
- The 5.2 kWh version claims 320 km of IDC range, far more than an Ather 450 Apex or TVS X on paper.
- Carbon fibre front mudguard and grab handle, aero wings and a sculpted windscreen make it look properly different from the regular S1 Pro.
Worth knowing
- At Rs 1,49,999 to Rs 1,64,999 it costs more than the S1 Pro it is based on.
- Ola has had a rough service and reliability record, and owner reviews still flag long waits at service centres.
- Aggregator spec sheets do not yet match Ola's own numbers on power, top speed and wheel size, so check the scooter in person before you buy.
- Ola promotes ten colours in gloss and matte, yet its own colour picker only shows six so far.
