Tata’s October Offers Top Out at ₹1.25 Lakh on the Curvv

Tata’s October 2026 offers range from ₹20,000 on the Curvv X to ₹1.25 lakh elsewhere, but most buyers only qualify for a fraction of that number.

Tata Motors’ October 2026 festive offers top out at ₹1,25,000, but that number belongs to one variant line on one model, the Curvv. Most buyers walking into a Tata showroom this month without a car to trade in or scrap will see a much smaller cheque: as little as ₹10,000 to ₹30,000 in guaranteed cash, with the rest locked behind an exchange or scrappage bonus that depends entirely on what you’re giving up. Here is what every model on sale actually gets, and which one is worth booking before Diwali.

Which Tata Model Has the Biggest October 2026 Discount?

Two independent dealer-offer trackers, Auto Punditz and CarHP, published near-identical October breakdowns, and the Nexon figure carries straight over from Autocar India’s September report, which listed the same ₹75,000 ceiling a month earlier. That’s a rolled-over factory scheme, not a one-off dealer claim.

Model & Variant ScopeMaximum BenefitWhat It’s Made Of
Curvv (all trims except Curvv X)Up to ₹1,25,000Consumer ₹30,000 + exchange ₹40,000 + scrappage ₹45,000 + loyalty ₹50,000 (capped, see below)

The “Up To” Catch Nobody Prints in the Headline

Both trackers flag the same problem on the Curvv: add up every line item in that top row and you get ₹1,65,000, not ₹1,25,000. Neither can confirm from dealer paperwork which lines stack and which cancel out, and the same ambiguity shows up on the Harrier and Safari, where the components add up to ₹70,000 against a stated ₹45,000 ceiling. The maker caps the total somewhere below the sum of the parts, and only your dealer’s final invoice tells you exactly where.

The Sierra’s sheet is more honest about this: exchange, scrappage, level-up and loyalty are each listed at ₹30,000, but the applicable maximum stays ₹30,000. You get one of the four, not all four.

What You Actually Walk Away With Depends on Your Trade-In

Exchange and scrappage bonuses assume you’re handing over an old vehicle. First-time buyers and anyone upgrading from a two-wheeler only qualify for the consumer or intervention portion, a far smaller number than the one in the ad.

ModelNo Trade-In, Cash OnlyWith Exchange or Scrappage
Curvv (non-X)₹30,000Up to ₹1,25,000
Nexon Petrol MT (top trims)₹10,000 + ₹45,000 intervention = ₹55,000Up to ₹75,000
Nexon CNG₹10,000 + ₹25,000 intervention = ₹35,000Up to ₹60,000
Harrier / Safari Diesel₹10,000Up to ₹45,000
Sierra₹0 (no consumer-only line reported)Up to ₹30,000

Read that table before you read the ad. The Sierra’s entire ₹30,000 is conditional on a trade-in, so a buyer with nothing to exchange effectively gets no October discount on it at all.

Which Variant Is Actually Worth Booking This Month?

Skip the Curvv’s headline number unless you genuinely have a car to scrap or exchange and get your dealer to confirm the stack in writing before paying a token amount. For most buyers, the Nexon‘s Petrol MT trims are the safer bet: ₹55,000 is guaranteed through the intervention and consumer offer alone, no trade-in needed, with a further ₹20,000 scrappage bonus on top if you do have an old car to retire. It’s also the one figure three separate sources, Auto Punditz, CarHP and Autocar India, have now reported identically across two months.

The Curvv wins on paper. The Nexon Petrol MT wins in the showroom, because its ₹55,000 doesn’t need anything from you except a booking form.

Cross-shopping the Nexon against Tata’s own smaller SUV? Our Nexon vs Punch comparison breaks down whether the extra few lakh is worth it before this month’s offer even enters the picture. Check the on-road price in Mumbai to see what the discount works out to after RTO and insurance, since none of these offer sheets touch on-road costs. The compact SUV list covers every rival in this band.

The Tigor still shows a ₹30,000 offer, but Tata has already replaced it with the Aeris, and CarHP flags this one as stock-dependent. If your dealer still has a Tigor on the lot, the discount is real, but you’re buying a model Tata has stopped building.

Should You Buy Now or Wait Closer to Diwali?

Neither tracker lists a firm end date beyond “valid for October 2026,” and Tata typically refreshes these sheets at the start of each month, so there’s no sign of a bigger jump before Diwali. Scrappage and exchange values are fixed by your old vehicle’s condition, not the calendar, so waiting doesn’t improve those numbers. The one real reason to wait is stock: Camo, Dark and special editions on the Nexon and Curvv run on smaller allocations and can sell out city by city before the month ends.

Which Tata model has the biggest October 2026 discount?

The Curvv, on paper, with benefits advertised up to ₹1,25,000 on every trim except the Curvv X. But that full amount needs both an exchange vehicle and a scrappage certificate; without either, the guaranteed cash portion is just ₹30,000.

Can I combine the exchange bonus and the scrappage bonus on a Tata car this month?

No. Every offer sheet for October lists exchange and scrappage as alternatives tied to the same old vehicle, not benefits that add together. Your dealer applies whichever pays more for your specific trade-in, not both at once.

Is the Tata Tigor still available with a discount in October 2026?

Only while existing dealer stock lasts. Tata has replaced the Tigor with the Aeris, so the ₹30,000 offer applies to leftover units, not a currently manufactured car.
