Why it stands out

  • Denza's own figures give the D9 a 5,250 mm length and a 3,110 mm wheelbase, so seven people get a proper three-row cabin to spread out in (international spec).
  • A 103.36 kWh BYD Blade battery gives a claimed 520 km WLTC range, with 11 kW AC charging and up to 200 kW DC fast charging (international spec).
  • Second-row seats are ventilated and power-adjustable with memory, powered legrests and a fold-out table, so rear passengers are properly looked after (international spec).
  • Power-sliding doors on both sides, a front sunroof and a 1.1 m fixed panoramic roof make the cabin easy to step into and bright to sit in (international spec).
  • Denza lists eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking on the front-wheel-drive D9 sold abroad.

Worth knowing

  • Not on sale in India yet: Denza debuts in India on 13 November 2026, and the price, versions, specifications and powertrain are all still unannounced.
  • The expected price is around Rs 90 lakh ex-showroom, which is an estimate and not an announced figure.
  • At 5,250 mm long, 1,960 mm wide and 1,920 mm tall, it is a very big vehicle for crowded city streets and tight parking.
