The Access 125 Has ABS. The Activa 125 Still Doesn’t.
Oct 9, 2026The Spec'd take
Why it stands out
- A 293.5 cc air-cooled single with an oil cooler, closely related to the engine Honda has used in the CB300F, in a light dual-sport package
- Honda Selectable Torque Control and switchable 2-channel ABS are on the spec list, which is a real talking point for a trail bike priced from Rs 1.83 lakh
- Classic off-road proportions: a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheel set with dual-purpose tyres
- Long-travel suspension with a gas-charged Pro-link rear shock, aimed at weekend trails while staying easy enough for the daily commute
- Made in India, which is what keeps a Honda 300 trail bike in reach of first-time adventure riders
Worth knowing
- Honda has not yet published India power and torque, or weight, seat height and ground clearance, so the numbers that matter off-road are still missing
- Bookings are open, but deliveries only begin after Honda unlocks the full spec sheet in Q3 FY 2026-27 (October to December 2026)
- A basic LCD instrument cluster with no connectivity, while the XR300 Rally gets a TFT and Honda RoadSync
- The 7.8-litre fuel tank is on the small side for long rides away from a fuel station
