Range Rover Electric Launched at £154,070: India Bookings Open at ₹10 Lakh
Sep 2, 2026The Spec'd take
Why it stands out
- Land Rover quotes up to 550 PS and 850 Nm from two 260 kW motors, with 0 to 60 mph in as little as 4.3 seconds, so petrol V8 pace without the V8
- Up to 600 km of WLTP range from a 118.5 kWh battery, with Land Rover's own real-world figure of up to 535 km, which is properly usable for a car this size
- 800 V charging: 10 to 80 percent in about 22 minutes on a 350 kW DC charger, and about 220 km added in a 10 minute stop
- Still a proper Range Rover underneath: 900 mm wading depth, Single Pedal driving that works with Terrain Response, and an 8 year battery warranty (160,000 km)
- The quietest Range Rover yet, with Active Noise Cancellation, acoustic laminated glass and Cabin Air Purification Pro
Worth knowing
- Bookings are open in India with a Rs 10 lakh token, but Land Rover India has not announced a price, and early estimates put it around Rs 3.5 crore ex-showroom
- It is fully imported, and being an EV it gets no tariff cut under the India UK trade deal, so it misses out on the duty cuts that the trade deal brings for petrol Range Rovers
- Towing is capped at 2,500 kg, and Land Rover's data lists no towing figure for the long wheelbase
- Heavy: Land Rover's EU data lists an unladen weight from 2,810 kg, and the headline 22 minute charge needs a 350 kW DC charger, so real-world times depend on what is near you
