Maruti Suzuki’s Nexa showrooms are advertising “up to ₹1.36 Lakh” off the Grand Vitara this October, and every outlet that reported it, including this one would have, used the same number. What almost nobody has flagged: ₹11,000 of that figure was a pre-Navratri booking bonus that expired on October 10. Book a Grand Vitara Sigma Petrol MT today and the real ceiling is ₹1.25 lakh, not ₹1.36 lakh, and that is before checking whether you actually qualify for the exchange, loyalty and corporate slices that make up the rest.
This is the full Nexa line-up for October 2026, what each offer is actually built from, and which of these six cars has a discount you do not need an old car, a loyalty card or an employer tie-up to get.
What Nexa Is Actually Offering This Month
Figures below are from Autocar India’s October 2026 round-up, published October 7, corroborated by Auto Punditz and Maxabout on the same headline totals. The “Real now” column is our own subtraction of the pre-Navratri bonus (October 1 to 10, now lapsed) where Autocar’s breakdown lets us isolate it. Where it doesn’t, we have left the figure as Autocar reported it rather than guess.
| Model | Headline “up to” | Real now (post Oct 10) | Needs exchange/loyalty/corporate? |
| Grand Vitara (Sigma Petrol MT) | ₹1.36 lakh | ₹1.25 lakh | Yes, for ₹90,000 of it |
| Grand Vitara (strong-hybrid) | ₹1.20 lakh + zero road tax (up to ₹1.85 lakh) + 5-yr warranty | Unchanged, no pre-Navratri in this bracket | Not stated |
| Invicto (all variants) | ₹95,000 | ₹95,000, unchanged | Yes, all of it |
| XL6 (Petrol MT/AT) | ₹61,000 | ₹50,000 | Yes, for ₹30,000 of it |
| XL6 (CNG) | ₹50,000 | ₹50,000, unchanged | Yes, for ₹30,000 of it |
| Fronx (1.0L turbo) | ₹27,100 | ₹20,000 | Yes, for ₹15,000 of it |
| e Vitara | ₹30,000 | ₹30,000, unchanged | Yes, all of it |
| Jimny (all variants) | ₹35,000 | ₹35,000, unchanged | No, flat cash discount |
Two things stand out. The XL6 petrol’s real offer has quietly converged with its own CNG variant, both now topping out at ₹50,000, once you strip out the booking bonus that only the petrol figure openly included. And the Jimny is the only car on this list where the number on the poster is the number you actually get, no trade-in, no loyalty history, no corporate ID required.

Why the Grand Vitara’s Number Needs an Asterisk
The Sigma Petrol MT’s ₹1.36 lakh headline is six offers stacked: a ₹35,000 cash discount everyone gets, the now-expired ₹11,000 pre-Navratri slice, a ₹30,000 exchange bonus for cars up to 10 years old, a further ₹25,000 for cars up to 6 years old, a ₹20,000 loyalty bonus for existing Maruti owners, and a ₹15,000 corporate offer that needs an empanelled employer. Strip the lapsed bonus and a buyer with no car to exchange, no Maruti history and no corporate tie-up is looking at ₹35,000, not ₹1.36 lakh. The strong-hybrid variants are a separate, better-protected deal: up to ₹1.20 lakh in cash-style benefits plus zero road tax worth up to ₹1.85 lakh and a 5-year extended warranty, none of which touched the pre-Navratri slice.
Dealer-level offers vary by city and stock, and Autocar India’s own reporting flags that. Confirm the live breakup at your Nexa dealership before you book; this piece is a starting point for the negotiation, not the final number.
Grand Vitara On-Road Price and EMI, Before Any Discount
Offers change month to month; the underlying on-road price is the number that actually decides your EMI. On The Spec’d’s Mumbai price page, the entry Sigma Petrol MT comes to about ₹12.59 lakh on the road: ₹10.77 lakh ex-showroom, ₹1.29 lakh in Maharashtra’s 12 percent road tax, ₹52,173 insurance and ₹1,200 for FASTag and accessories. Surat is the cheapest of the 39 cities we price it in, at ₹11.93 lakh, ₹65,700 less than Mumbai thanks to Gujarat’s lower 6 percent tax slab. Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada are the dearest, at ₹13.30 lakh, so the same car swings by roughly ₹1.37 lakh depending purely on which state registers it.
| City | On-road price, Sigma Petrol MT | Road tax rate |
| Surat (cheapest) | ₹11.93 lakh | 6% |
| Mumbai | ₹12.59 lakh | 12% |
| Visakhapatnam / Vijayawada (dearest) | ₹13.30 lakh | 18.7% |
On The Spec’d’s EMI calculator, that Mumbai on-road price works out to about ₹21,154 a month with 20 percent down over a 5-year loan at 9.5 percent interest, before any of October’s offers are applied. Stretch the loan to 7 years and it drops to about ₹16,462 a month; pull it in to 3 years and it jumps to about ₹32,265. These are estimates on a default rate; your bank will quote its own.

Which Variant Is Actually Worth Buying
Skip the base Sigma if you can stretch the budget; it misses the touchscreen and gets you into the offer stack mostly through discounts that need eligibility. The Delta Petrol AT is the one The Spec’d’s own pricing page flags as the Best Value pick in the range, at ₹15.75 lakh on-road in Mumbai against an ₹13.49 lakh ex-showroom. It adds an automatic gearbox over the Delta MT and the touchscreen, climate control and six-airbag safety kit the Sigma does without, for a price jump that is smaller than what you lose skipping straight from Sigma to Zeta.
Be aware of the step itself: Sigma Petrol MT is priced at ₹10.77 lakh ex-showroom and Delta Petrol MT at ₹12.15 lakh, a ₹1.38 lakh jump for one trim level. None of October’s offers close that gap; they are percentage-small next to it. Decide your variant first, on equipment, then layer the discount on top.
If you don’t have a car to trade in and don’t work for a company on Maruti’s corporate list, the Jimny’s flat ₹35,000 is close to the guaranteed portion of the Grand Vitara’s own offer, on a very different kind of SUV. It is worth cross-shopping against the Grand Vitara versus the Hyundai Creta if the hybrid variants are what drew you to Nexa in the first place; the Creta undercuts it on ADAS at a similar price band.
Treat every “up to” figure in a festive offers ad as a ceiling built for a buyer who has an old car, a Maruti service history and a listed employer, all at once. Most buyers get a fraction of it, and this month, part of that fraction already expired.

Browsing beyond Nexa, The Spec’d’s list of SUVs under ₹15 lakh is a useful next stop if the Grand Vitara’s entry price is your real ceiling once discounts land.
Has the Maruti Grand Vitara’s October offer already expired?
Not all of it. The ₹11,000 pre-Navratri booking bonus ended October 10, but the ₹35,000 cash discount and the exchange, loyalty and corporate benefits that make up the rest of the ₹1.36 lakh headline are still live through the month, subject to dealer stock and eligibility.
Which Nexa car has the best festive discount right now?
On paper, the Grand Vitara’s strong-hybrid variants carry the largest protected benefit, up to ₹1.20 lakh plus zero road tax worth up to ₹1.85 lakh, since none of it depended on the lapsed booking bonus. For a guaranteed cash discount with no conditions, the Jimny’s flat ₹35,000 is the simplest.
Do Nexa’s exchange and corporate offers apply automatically?
No. The exchange bonus needs a car up to 10 years old (an additional bonus needs one under 6 years), the loyalty offer needs an existing Maruti Suzuki vehicle in the household, and the corporate offer needs an employer on Maruti’s empanelled list. Ask your Nexa dealer which of these you actually qualify for before assuming the full “up to” figure.
