Mahindra’s festive push for October tops out at ₹1.5 lakh on the Scorpio-N’s range-topping Z8L and Z8T four-wheel-drive automatics, split between a ₹1.25 lakh cash discount and ₹25,000 in accessories. The Thar OG’s 4WD trims get up to ₹80,000, but the Thar Roxx gets nothing this month, and the entry-level variants of both SUVs are mostly left out. Here is who actually qualifies, and what the top trims cost on the road once the discount is applied.
These figures come from Times Bull’s October 2026 Mahindra offers report, with the XUV 3XO and Thar 4WD totals independently matched by Times Drive’s festive roundup the same week. Neither outlet names an end date, and Mahindra has no public offers page with line-item figures, so confirm with your dealer before booking.

Scorpio-N: ₹1.5 Lakh, But Only on the 4WD Automatics
The discount scales down fast once you move off the top trims. The 2WD Z8L/Z8T automatics get half the cash benefit, and the older Scorpio Classic gets far less again.
| Model | Variant(s) | Cash Discount | Accessories | Total Benefit |
| Scorpio-N | Z8L / Z8T 4WD Automatic | ₹1,25,000 | ₹25,000 | Up to ₹1.5 Lakh |
| Scorpio-N | Z8L / Z8T 2WD Automatic | ₹50,000 | ₹25,000 | ₹75,000 |
| Scorpio Classic | S11 | ₹25,000 | ₹20,000 | ₹45,000 |
| Scorpio Classic | S | ₹15,000 | ₹20,000 | ₹35,000 |
On The Spec’d’s own city price pages, the Z8T Diesel AT 4WD comes to about ₹29.29 lakh on the road in Mumbai (₹24.39 lakh ex-showroom), and the Z8L Diesel AT 4WD works out to roughly ₹30.60 lakh on-road. Knock off the ₹1.5 lakh benefit and you’re still looking at close to ₹28-29 lakh on the road, before you’ve added a single accessory beyond what the offer bundles in.
Worth saying plainly: this discount is stapled to the two most expensive trims in the lineup, both already past ₹29 lakh on the road. Skip the 4WD low-range and the automatic gearbox, which our own price page shows adds ₹1.53-1.59 lakh over the equivalent manual, and the undiscounted Z8S diesel automatic at ₹19.89 lakh ex-showroom still undercuts the discounted 4WD automatic by nearly ₹10 lakh on the road. Want the extra captain-chair seating instead? The Z8L Petrol MT 6-Seater is worth weighing against rivals on The Spec’d’s list of 7-seater cars.
Thar OG: ₹80,000 on 4WD, Almost Nothing on the 2WD LXT
The Thar OG’s benefit is concentrated on 4WD variants, both petrol and diesel. The 2WD LXT gets accessories only, no cash discount, and the Thar Roxx isn’t part of this month’s list at all.
| Model | Variant(s) | Cash Discount | Accessories | Total Benefit |
| Thar OG | 4WD, Petrol & Diesel | ₹50,000 | ₹30,000 | Up to ₹80,000 |
| Thar OG | 2WD LXT | None announced | ₹30,000 | ₹30,000 |
| Thar Roxx | All variants | No October offer reported | ||

The best-value pick here is the LXT 2.2 Diesel MT 4WD, which The Spec’d’s own price page already flags as the Thar OG’s best-value variant on specs alone. At ₹16.43 lakh ex-showroom, it comes to about ₹19.66 lakh on the road in Mumbai; with the ₹80,000 benefit applied, that drops to roughly ₹18.86 lakh. For scale, The Spec’d’s EMI calculator works the base variant’s Mumbai on-road price out to about ₹20,636 a month over five years at 20% down and 9.5% interest; expect the 4WD diesel’s own EMI to run higher.
If you’re deciding between the two Thars, the gap is stark this month: the newer Thar OG gets a real discount on its 4WD trims, while the Thar OG vs Thar Roxx comparison on this site lays out what else separates them beyond price, including cabin space and the Roxx’s longer wheelbase.
XUV 3XO and XUV400 EV: Smaller, Uneven Benefits
The XUV 3XO’s petrol trims (MX2 Pro, MX3 and MX3 Pro) get up to ₹60,000, split as ₹40,000 cash plus ₹20,000 in accessories. The diesel range gets only a ₹10,000 cash discount, no accessories bundle specified. The XUV400 EV’s EL Pro variant gets a flat ₹1,00,000 cash discount, per Times Bull; Times Drive confirms the EV is part of this month’s push but doesn’t independently state the amount, so treat that single figure with a little more caution.

Mahindra’s Bolero and Bolero Neo also carry festive benefits, per Times Bull, but neither report gives a variant-level figure. Don’t read that silence as zero; ask your dealer for the current Bolero scheme directly.
Which City Changes the Math
Offers aside, where you register the car moves the price more than you’d expect. For the Scorpio-N’s entry-level Z2 Petrol MT, our city price pages show it coming to about ₹15.33 lakh on the road in Surat, the cheapest of 39 cities we track, against ₹17.07 lakh in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam, a ₹1.74 lakh gap built almost entirely from road tax. Mumbai sits in between at ₹16.16 lakh. Check your own city’s on-road number before comparing deals across dealers in different states.
Which Mahindra model has the biggest October 2026 discount?
The Scorpio-N’s Z8L and Z8T 4WD automatic variants, at up to ₹1.5 lakh (₹1.25 lakh cash plus ₹25,000 in accessories), per Times Bull’s October roundup of Mahindra dealer offers.
Does the Mahindra Thar Roxx have any festive offers this month?
No. Neither Times Bull nor Times Drive lists an October 2026 benefit on the Thar Roxx, while the older Thar OG’s 4WD trims get up to ₹80,000. Check with your dealer directly, since this can change without a public announcement.
Is the XUV 3XO discount the same on petrol and diesel?
No. The petrol MX2 Pro, MX3 and MX3 Pro trims get up to ₹60,000 in combined cash and accessories, while the diesel range gets only a ₹10,000 cash discount with no accessories bundle reported.
