The Toyota Glanza facelift starts at ₹6.99 lakh and tops out at ₹10.98 lakh, but the variant worth your money is the mid-spec G, priced from ₹8.73 lakh. It gets the 9-inch touchscreen, auto AC and rear camera that actually matter day to day, without the ₹1.26 lakh jump to the V’s leatherette seats and head-up display. Skip the V. If you have that kind of budget, push on to the V(O) instead, because it costs only ₹50,000 more than V and adds Level 2 ADAS.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor launched the updated Glanza on 14 October 2026 with a new engine, a CNG automatic for the first time, and ADAS on the top trim. It’s still a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Baleno underneath, and that decides almost everything about who should buy one.

What’s Actually New on the 2026 Glanza
The old four-cylinder petrol is gone, replaced by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder unit shared with the Baleno facelift: 83hp and 112Nm, which Autocar India notes is 7hp and 1Nm down on the engine it replaces. Claimed mileage improves anyway, to 23.80-24.77 kmpl on petrol and 33.61-34.47 km/kg on CNG, the latter now available with an automatic gearbox for the first time on this car. Six airbags, ABS with EBD and stability control are standard from the base E upward; Level 2 ADAS is reserved for the top V(O) trim only.
Toyota Glanza Facelift: Every Petrol Variant and Price
| Variant | Ex-showroom price | Adds over the trim below |
| E Petrol MT | ₹6.99 Lakh | 6 airbags, ABS, ESP, keyless entry, power windows (base) |
| S Petrol MT | ₹7.71 Lakh | +₹72,000: 7-inch touchscreen, wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, rear AC vents |
| G Petrol MT | ₹8.73 Lakh | +₹1.02 Lakh: 9-inch touchscreen, 16-inch alloys, LED headlamps, push-button start, auto AC, rear camera |
| V Petrol MT | ₹9.99 Lakh | +₹1.26 Lakh: 360-degree camera, head-up display, ventilated seats, cruise control, leatherette seats |
| V(O) Petrol MT | ₹10.49 Lakh | +₹50,000: Level 2 ADAS (adaptive cruise, lane keep, autonomous braking) |
CNG runs on S and G trims only, manual or the new AMT: S CNG MT is ₹8.76 Lakh, G CNG MT is ₹9.68 Lakh, G CNG AMT tops out at ₹10.23 Lakh.
Which Variant Is Actually Worth Buying
Autocar India’s own variant guide lands on the same pick: G, because it’s one of only two trims offered with every engine and gearbox combination, and because the jump to V buys mostly feel-good kit. A leather-wrapped wheel and a Clarion sound system aren’t worth ₹1.26 lakh over a car that already has a 9-inch touchscreen, LED lights and a reversing camera at G.
The one exception is safety. V(O) costs just ₹50,000 more than V and adds the full Level 2 ADAS suite: adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking. If you’re already stretching to V money, that last ₹50,000 for real crash-avoidance tech beats the ventilated seats.
Buy the G if you want the sensible Glanza. If you are going to spend V money, spend ₹50,000 more and get V(O) instead, for the ADAS rather than the ventilated seats.
On-Road Price: What the G Actually Costs You
On The Spec’d’s own on-road price pages, the G Petrol MT comes to about ₹10.15 Lakh on the road in Mumbai, once Maharashtra’s 11% road tax, insurance and FASTag are added to its ₹8.73 Lakh ex-showroom price. Registration city matters too: the base E Petrol MT comes to about ₹7.66 Lakh on the road in Puducherry, the cheapest of the 39 cities The Spec’d prices, against ₹8.15 Lakh in Mumbai, a ₹49,651 gap driven almost entirely by Maharashtra’s road tax slab. Check the Glanza’s on-road price pages for your own city before you budget.

Petrol or CNG: What It Costs to Run
| Powertrain | Claimed mileage | Cost per 1,000 km |
| Petrol, manual | 23.80 kmpl | ₹4,200 |
| Petrol, AMT | 24.77 kmpl | ₹4,040 |
| CNG, manual | 33.61 km/kg | ₹2,380 |
| CNG, AMT | 34.47 km/kg | ₹2,320 |
Those figures, from The Spec’d’s Glanza mileage page, are worked out at ₹100 a litre of petrol and ₹80 a kg of CNG against the claimed, lab-tested mileage. No independent real-world test of this new three-cylinder engine has been published yet, so treat the claimed figures as a ceiling, not what you’ll see with the air-conditioning on in city traffic.

Where the Glanza Loses to Its Own Cousin
The Glanza’s biggest problem is not the car, it’s the price tag next to the Maruti Suzuki Baleno it’s built on. Autocar India’s comparison found equivalent petrol variants cost ₹71,000 to ₹1 lakh more as a Glanza, and CNG variants ₹76,000 to ₹99,000 more, for a car that’s cosmetically different and mechanically near-identical underneath. You’re paying for the Toyota badge and service network, not extra car. Full breakdown: Glanza vs Baleno: Same Car, ₹1 Lakh Apart.
It also skips two features the Tata Altroz and Hyundai i20 both offer: a rear centre armrest and a sunroof. Neither is a dealbreaker, but on a car already pricier than its rivals, their absence stings more.
Practical Numbers: Boot, Cabin and Safety
| Boot space | 318 litres |
| Ground clearance | 170 mm |
| Wheelbase | 2,520 mm |
| Crash safety | Not tested itself; the 6-airbag Baleno it shares a platform with scored 4 stars (Bharat NCAP, 2025) |
318 litres fits a week’s groceries or two soft-sided check-in bags, not much more. There’s no diesel or turbo-petrol, so buyers covering big highway distances monthly should look elsewhere: this is a city car built around CNG economics.
Which Toyota Glanza Variant Should I Buy?
The G Petrol MT or AMT, at ₹8.73 Lakh to ₹9.33 Lakh ex-showroom. It carries the touchscreen, auto AC, LED lighting and rear camera most buyers actually use, without the ₹1.26 lakh jump to V for seats you’ll heat and cool twice a year.
Is the Toyota Glanza Facelift Available With CNG?
Yes, on the S and G trims, in both manual and, for the first time on this car, an automatic gearbox. CNG MT starts at ₹8.76 Lakh, claiming up to 33.61 km/kg.
How Much Cheaper Is the Maruti Baleno Than the Glanza?
₹71,000 to ₹1 lakh less on petrol, and ₹76,000 to ₹99,000 less on CNG, for what is largely the same car underneath with Toyota styling and badging on top.
