Yamaha’s Diwali Offers Leave Out the Aerox and R2

Yamaha's festive finance offers cut the Fascino 125's down payment to ₹2,499 and give the FZ range up to ₹5,999 off insurance, but four models get nothing.

Yamaha’s festive finance offers, running through the end of November 2026, cut the minimum down payment on a Fascino 125 to just ₹2,499 and knock up to ₹5,999 off insurance on the FZ range. But four models in the lineup, the Aerox 155, EC-06, R15S and YZF-R2, get nothing at all this festive season.

The offers come from India Yamaha Motor and are confirmed by two independent reports, GaadiKey (9 October 2026) and 91Wheels (13 October 2026), with a third, Maxabout (12 October 2026), matching the model-wise figures. All three agree the scheme runs through authorised Yamaha dealers nationwide, with the finance terms depending on the buyer’s credit profile and the lender.

Which Yamaha Gets What This Festive Season

ModelMinimum Down PaymentInsurance Benefit (up to)
Fascino 125 / Ray ZR 125₹2,499₹3,399
FZ range (FZ-S Fi, FZ Rave, FZ-X)₹3,900₹5,999
XSR155₹4,999₹5,555
R15 / MT-15₹4,999Not offered
Aerox 155, EC-06, R15S, YZF-R2No offerNo offer

Two things to notice before you walk into a showroom. First, these are finance offers, a lower minimum down payment and a capped insurance add-on, not cash discounts off the ex-showroom price, so they only help if you’re financing the bike. Second, GaadiKey reports the cash-value offers (the down payment cuts) run from 1 October to the end of November 2026, while the insurance benefit has a shorter window, 10 October to 15 November, a detail 91Wheels also confirms. Both reports note the scheme currently excludes Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

The Four Models Yamaha Left Out

This is the gap nobody else is naming clearly. The Aerox 155 and EC-06 scooters, the R15S (the de-tuned, single-channel-ABS version of the R15) and the YZF-R2, Yamaha’s newest and cheapest supersport, launched just two months ago, carry no festive benefit at all. If you’re set on one of these four, the festive season buys you nothing extra; negotiate on accessories or an exchange bonus instead.

What the Fascino 125 Actually Costs With This Offer

The down payment cut matters most on the cheapest bike in the range. The Spec’d’s on-road price estimate puts the base Fascino 125 Fi Drum at ₹92,862 on the road in Mumbai (ex-showroom ₹78,980, plus Maharashtra’s 11% two-wheeler road tax and insurance). Put down the festive-offer minimum of ₹2,499 and you finance the remaining ₹90,363. The Spec’d’s own EMI estimate for this bike, worked on a fuller 20% down payment over a 3-year loan at 12% interest, comes to about ₹2,467 a month, so expect a noticeably higher monthly payment if you use the lower festive down payment instead.

The insurance benefit is the more useful number here. The Spec’d estimates the Fascino 125’s own 5-year third-party-plus-1-year-own-damage insurance in Mumbai at ₹5,194. An offer worth up to ₹3,399 covers roughly two-thirds of that bill, which is a real saving, not a marketing number.

VariantOn-Road Price (Mumbai)Ex-Showroom
Fascino 125 Fi Drum (Best Value)₹92,862₹78,980
Fascino 125 Fi Disc₹1.06 Lakh₹91,070
Fascino 125 Fi S₹1.15 Lakh₹99,030

Buy the base Fi Drum. The Fi S adds a flashier paint job and a few cosmetic touches for ₹20,050 more, nothing that changes how the scooter rides or what it costs to run.

Is the Fascino Still the Cheapest 125cc Scooter to Own

Offers aside, our own city pricing shows the Fascino 125 already undercuts its closest rivals on the road in Mumbai: ₹92,862 against the 125cc scooter class’s TVS Jupiter 125 at ₹95,927, Hero Xoom 125 at ₹97,836, Honda Dio 125 at ₹1.03 lakh and the Suzuki Avenis 125 at ₹1.06 lakh. It also claims the best mileage of the group, 68.75 kmpl against the Avenis’s 55 kmpl, which works out to about ₹1,450 in fuel for every 1,000 km at ₹100-a-litre petrol, a claimed figure, not a tested one; expect less in heavy city traffic.

FZ or XSR155: Which Deal Is Worth More

If you’re cross-shopping Yamaha’s mid-size range, the FZ’s offer is the stronger one in rupee terms: ₹5,999 off insurance against the XSR155’s ₹5,555, for a lower down payment too (₹3,900 versus ₹4,999). The XSR155 is the pricier, retro-styled bike to begin with, so its slightly smaller benefit stretches less far. Neither offer changes the on-road price, both only lower what you need to pay upfront and insure for less out of pocket.

The real story isn’t the headline discount, it’s that a third of Yamaha’s India lineup gets nothing this festive season. Check your exact model against the table above before you assume the offer applies.

Does the Yamaha festive offer apply to all variants?

The reports don’t break the offers down by variant within a model, only by model range. Confirm the exact variant eligibility with your dealer before booking, since finance terms can vary by colour or trim availability.

Can I combine the down payment offer with an exchange bonus?

None of the three reports mention an exchange bonus alongside these offers. Ask your dealer directly, exchange schemes are usually separate and vary by dealership and by the vehicle you’re trading in.

Why isn’t the YZF-R2 included despite being Yamaha’s newest launch?

Yamaha hasn’t said why. The R2 launched at ₹2.30 lakh just two months ago and may simply be too new in the sales cycle for a finance push; GaadiKey’s festive offer list, the most detailed of the three, does not list it among the covered models.
