Ola Electric’s Comeback Is Real, But So Is the ₹336 Crore Quarterly Loss
Sep 30, 2026The Spec'd take
Why it stands out
- A 52 kW motor and sub 1.2 second 0 to 40 kmph time put it well ahead of any other electric motorcycle on sale in India.
- The 16 kWh version's 579 km IDC range is the longest Ola offers on any model, easily covering multi-day rides.
- An 8 year battery warranty matches the rest of the Roadster family and beats most electric two-wheeler rivals' 3 year cover.
Worth knowing
- Not on sale yet: Ola announced the Roadster Pro with these prices, but its site now sends the Roadster Pro page to the Roadster X and deliveries have not started.
- Ola has not published seat height, kerb weight, suspension or brake specifications for the Roadster Pro; some Indian listings give figures for these but disagree with each other, so they are left out here.
- At Rs 2.50 lakh for the 16 kWh version, it costs more than most petrol 300 to 400cc motorcycles.
- A 194 kmph top speed on an unfaired naked motorcycle with no wind protection will be tiring on long highway stretches.
