The Spec'd take

Why it stands out

  • Genuine touring-cruiser styling with real 2-up practicality the solo-focused Bobber doesnt offer
  • 2026 update adds IMU-based lean-sensitive cornering ABS/traction control plus a larger 14-litre tank
  • Real ride-by-wire throttle and cruise control standard for genuine long-distance comfort

Worth knowing

  • At 263-265 kg, its genuinely the heaviest of Triumphs 1200cc classic-styled cruisers
  • At over Rs 13.5 lakh, it is a genuinely low-volume halo model, not a mainstream purchase

Source Notes / Discrepancies

Source Notes / Discrepancies 2026 model year update confirmed launched in India (Autocar India, 2026) at Rs 13.52 lakh ex-showroom, unchanged from prior record. Fuel tank increased to 14 litres (from 12 litres) and power revised to 78 PS/77 bhp @ 6,000 rpm (from 76.9 bhp) per Triumph's own global media kit and Autocar India's launch report, correcting the previous discrepancy noted between Autocar and BikeWale. New model also gains IMU-based lean-sensitive Optimised Cornering ABS/traction control, Brembo front brakes, aluminium-rimmed spoke wheels and a USB-C charging port. Some aggregators (BikeWale, BikeDekho) still show pre-update 12-litre/76.9bhp figures and should be treated as stale.
